We are open Monday to Friday 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm throughout the year. We will be open Monday to Saturday 10am-1pm, 2pm-5pm from 15 September 2008 to 25th October 2008.
We are open every day in May, including Bank holidays.
Our 6 acre woodland rhododendron garden is open every day in May. It features most of the plants listed here, together with companion shrubs and trees, in a beautiful setting including ponds and a stream. (See the NGS Yellow Book for charity opening details.)
The trials garden (next to the Plant Centre) is open throughout the year and features hundreds of new varieties from around the world. It gives us a chance to see how they perform in a garden situation and many are sold as specimens after a few years.
At the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2006 we gained a Silver Gilt Award for our exhibition. Yet again we were the only specialist rhododendron nursery to exhibit at this prestigious show! |
